oh my word, Hollywood has a lot to answer for! Kristen, i love you, but this movie is about the cost of armed revolution. while the O.T. was all about the big heroes, the Skywalkers, Han, C3P0, R2D2 and such. they were very much dark vs light whilst making it crystal clear which is which. to be clear, i loved them. when i was a kid, during '76, i went to the movies to see "A New Hope" 13 times! that said, along with it's audience, Star Wars grew up. sadly, Hollywood has largely trained audiences to believe that good guys win, bad guys lose and for the most part, the good guys live happily ever after. sadly, life is rarely like that. the point of this movie was to tell the story of the ordinary people who paid the ultimate price so that Luke Skywalker could make that one in a million shot, destroy the death star and walk away the hero. the people whose fate was sealed 50 years ago. also, they kinda did make "a second one"! it's not a movie, it's a tv series called "Andor", there are only 2 seasons and you really should watch them! thanks for the reaction, seeya soon!

For Kristen: They do continue the Rouge One story with Andor. It’s a two season television show that is a prequel giving Cassain Andor’s backstory.
