i dont get the peacocking, especially if the person is already interested. it has the opposite effect. im looking at you because i want you; going out of your way to throw yourself at me is a major turn off. it screams of insecurity. listen to disney my friends via the genie from aladdin "just beeeeeeeeeeee yourself". when the right one comes along, they will accept you as is, no airs or shows need to be put on.

i totally agree with regine. im a hunter and if a guy pursues me im instantly not interested. especially if i approach you first. just last night i hit up this dude and he just kept throwing himself at me and im like yo i contacted YOU, i asked YOU out, just say yes and lets meet in person. 2 hours of back forth later we never met cause he just wanted to throw himself at me with all this silly flirting and sending pictures i didnt ask for just all too much for me. thats great everyone plays games but my name isnt everyone. i am part of the 1% not the 99%. thats what i need: a MAN who doesnt play games but is just real and genuine and transparent and vulnerable. a lemming that follows the crowd could never be my man my man my man

that reminds me of the movie The Duff, which gets no love but its soooo good. the duff is the designated friend that butts in as you said jaby. add it to the list of teen romcoms please!
