Y'all have to watch QUEEN CHARLOTTE before season 3 of Bridgeton!! It gives back story on the queen and people say its the best season of the series.

I didn't have the patience to wait for this episode. After you guys covered episodes 3 and 4, I binged the rest of the first season. Lol

They are always bickering when they interact, she made it clear she wanted the prince, the whole reason they teamed up was to get her a husband...why would he think she likes him? Even if he could read her body he cant read her mind. Words tell it all and she never said to him that she loved him and wanted to be his wife for real.

Please if you guys stop the show after the first countdown unblock the screen so we can see where to restart or say the exact time duration on the show your watching, because we can’t match with u when u keep stopping/restarting with no sound or visible picture on the screen.it’s really annoying

rooting for daphne as she assaults ssmon is craaaaaazy work. i get that its less nuanced in the books (she drugs him with liquor to make him weak and ignores his pleas to stop. plus you cant give consent when drunk). being married and lied to are no excuses to sexually assault someone. this was the death of the "romance" for me. forgiveness is a beautiful thing, but so is protecting my own peace via a divorce and living in solitude in my palace alone for all eternity.

My take is he was well aware that she liked him, the issue was he couldn't bring himself to fully express his love for her after getting married because in his mind he was robbing her of the dream of a family. He felt inadequate and like a disappointment so he couldn't bare to look into her eyes and see that reflected back. The feeling of being a disappointment runs deep for him, in addition to him being back where all the trauma began.

Cinepals, PLEASE watch Queen Charlotte after season 2 of Bridgerton. It’s imperative. The correct order is Bridgerton 1&2, Queen Charlotte, then Bridgerton 3&4. You’ll learn much more about the king, the queen’s relationship with Lady Danbury, significance of the Pomeranians and so much more!

I recommend watching Queen Charlotte season one. It is the second best season after season 2, season one I rank 3rd in the series. The Queen Charlotte season gives good background on many of the characters.

Simon knew that Daphne wanted to have a family, like her own, lots of children, they talked about it. So his "inability" to have children... he feels that he has trapped her into a marriage where she will be giving up her dream to be a mother. And men can be dense sometimes.

Watch Queen Charlotte before season 3 that’s the order of the show series and it give a lot of context to season 1&2 and the lead up to season 3 plus is 100% the best season!!

Great reaction to this show I'm very happy you're watching it with an open mind. Technical difficulties happen. Could you please give some way for us to get back on track easily? Jaby stopped the show a few times over this series and it was annoying to have to try and resyncing back up using only a blurry image. Doesn't need to be something big just like a listed time for the video when its started again.

So excited for four episodes cause that means going to second season. The second season you'll either love or hate more on Anthony however you'll defiantly understand his character. The series is going off by order of the book series, however S3 combines two stories, which in my opinion rushed a bit much on one sibling. Even more so, while yes the young actors for Hyacinth and Gregory are growing up, seem like maybe give them some more time to grow up as their stories will likely be last. The ending of episode 6 is a hot topic. Martial rape we know is bad thing and doesnt matter which of the partner is doing it. First its the setting is set in 1800s so vast different mindset. The books came out in early 2000, I think 2002, so about 24 years ago. It's amazing how much of a different mindset we have now compared to 2000s. I was a kid in early 2000s and I remember how shows or movies would talk about domestic abuse, child abuse/neglect and the law still hadn't caught up how to handle it. So, while we know what Daphne did to Simon was wrong, book and setting in the book different time, different mindset. Also, thankful we are getting better at knowing how to treat a partner-excluding all the crazy political stuff going on now. Reminder for next season-watch Penelope. Because when you rewatch season 1 you catch how she is Whistledown.
