Hello friends! Apologies for dropping the ball on this yesterday. It was a bit mental at the office. Hopefully this makes up for it - This is all the watchalongs that we have of One Piece season 2 so far - episode 8 will be added tomorrow. Happy watching Straw Hats!

So S3 is confirmed and they have been filming it for a while and will end filming in June. It is speculated to release next year mid-late 2027. And as to how many seasons this show will be the actor that plays Zoro mentioned in an interview with the other cast that Oda (the creator) already has a perfect stop for this cast.My prediction is a certain arc which means it could get up to season 7-8 at least. I also think that they will switch the cast up after a certain point so that the actors don't get too old to play the characters. Which is understandable if they want to do the whole story (which the manga is in its final saga but is still ongoing)

There is a point that has been said to be good for the characters to be looking more mature. Helping with not having to recast.

Yes i know but the problem is before that point the actors would already have aged a lot since that point won't happen until season 9 or 10

More likely they'll adjust the time span if they feel the need to and only recast the actors who want to step off if any of them do at that point.

Sanji's Actor, Taz Skylar, learned a little bit of kickboxing for season 1. He got a black belt between filming season 1 and season 2 according to Zoro's actor talking about how good he got so fast.

Jaby, as far as the inspiration for the story, Oda Definitely draws from world events, classical stories and myths, really anything he loves. A lot of the Character designs are also based on actual people he admires. In regard to Achara's comments on Oda dropping the secret to the One Piece in the ocean, he didn't give any hints to where it is. I'm sure he and everyone else don't want people to get hurt to find it. And, as you two were talking about, we still don't know what the One Piece is, but we do know it will be revealed soon. The Manga is approaching the final Arc of the story, so in the coming years all will be revealed.
