Unfortunately, pen is too selfish to take the easy way out. Look what she did to mareena.....she got the man of her dreams, would helpe a sister get free from a horrible marriage, and put all this drama behind her. Become a novelist like bronte or something.

I wouldn’t be Benedict ‘s girlfriend or wife. He is better off doing whatever and leaving women alone. You couldn’t trust him, no way! The books are different but the show, no! I think not! That poor girl, like Whitney used to say Hell to No! I am not talking about Tilly. Before some people get all upset which really don’t care. This is just my thoughts. If I was a man I wouldn’t be involved with Tilly either, you know you can’t trust her. She also is better off doing what she does.

I know people think oh you should be more opened minded. The thing is they have not gone through what I have. My ex fiancé, told me he was experimented in college. I knew him for a long time, obviously I didn’t know him. Anyway, he still wanted to get married. I hate when people say, I didn’t lie, I just didn’t tell you. He said he was confused but not anymore. That was just so devastating. Someone doesn’t tell you something and claims they love you, come on. Finally, I couldn’t do it, sometimes love is not enough. I had to move across the country to get my life back together. People can do what they want but when it involves someone else be up front with them , to lie is not right let them decide if they want to deal with it or not.

Great reactions. I have some grumbles about Part 2, but I still love season 3 the most, as I love Colin and Pen's love story and Luke and Nicola elevate the material so much. Seeing two people who love each other, even when they are angry with each other/hurt felt very mature and Colin's final declaration is my favourite of any screen romance - not only that he loves her, but he's proud of her and proud to stand beside her. That's the type of partner to have. I do think they could've had a couple less Cressida scenes in favour of more Polin scenes in Part 2, but I love the sub-plots of female relationships in s3 of Danbury/Violet; Portia and her daughters; Violet/Francesca; Pen/Modiste; Pen/her sisters.

This is where i think the show took a misstep. Eloise she be a lesbian and fall in love with the cousin, not francesca. We dont need another broken marriage. Ben: i liked that he FINALLY got to scratch that itch, but i would have liked them to explore that more in the conversation. Thr moment he found out there would be no other man there, his face dropped into pure disappointment and all his joy disappeared. This is a woman he clearly likes and had had sex solo with many of things. He had one threesome and all of a sudden he can ONLY have threesomes going forward?! Lets talk about it! Or have them become a committed/open thruple. Give me something! And no more queerbsiting/side characters. Go full out! His ending left much to be desired. Ben bi, eloise lesbian, the youngest son gay aka thr last season so we can show progress in the time periods. Multiple types of relationships are represented this way. Havent seen season4 yet but ive seen the trailer. Dont know if he is going to be in an open relationship with her or just turn out to have been bi-curious, sowed his wild oaks, and now settled down with a woman. Hope they dont erase his queerness and have an actual conversation about it as a couple. And get that man back to painting!
