I enjoyed your reactions. I've seen this movie several times and enjoy it every time. It's possible that a major reason for Val getting his gay parents to join him in deceiving his future in-laws could have been for his fiance's benefit because she wasn't ready to share the news with her parents. Also, that is a nice observation that the birth mother was ultimately not painted as a villain.

I actually have (not until after I had seen this one though)! My kid and I actually watched them one week after another a couple of years ago as part of a original vs remake thing.

Dont remember if this is the first project i saw hank azaria in but it is the one when i first fell in love that body odie. This era had him as a major crush to my 13 year old self. From friends to mad about you and all of his voice acting work? The man is just impossible to not love 💖 my fave and most memorable part of this film
