No one Cares

Insecure would be awesome with Jaby, Achara, Vivian, Boose or Ashleigh. Any of that same group for Girlfriends, Good Times (only the first 3 seasons though), The Jeffersons (golden age of sitcom writing and acting), Everybody Hates Chris, Cooley High (please hurry up and get to that), Revenge of the Nerds (a classic), Carmen: A Hip Hopera (Beyoncé’s first acting role). All of those shows/movies have actors that you’ll be excited to see in lead and guest starring roles. You’ll understand why Will Smith and Martin had so many of them guest star in their own shows to pay homage and respect and better appreciate the references, inside jokes, and why they are so important to the culture.

I get he's not kyle but i like trip. I also love the aladdin tv show so i have FAR more exposure to the second voice of genie who had 2 movies and a good 50 plus episodes. Bad analogy to me lol everyone is good in their own way thats unique to them is my perspective

Girlfriends!!!! I think Girlfriends might pose a lot of things, you, Jaby, as a man, may not be able to fully understand. Girlfriends is full of complexities and drama that I think watching with someone like Achara would not only make for a better viewing experience, but the dialogue that will come out of that will be much better. It's a sitcom but it's a precursor to TV really going single-cam and it does get deep at many points.

Girlfriends has soooo many perspectives including male perspectives. It would really work as a 3-person watch: Jaby, Achara and Michael or Jaby, Achara and Vivian. I like how Jaby is dead set on being the one to watch this regardless of the line-up, lol. As much as its been talked about it seems it will replace Living Single after you guys wrap up Martin's final season this summer. Girlfriends is like the 2000's version of Living Single with longer term boyfriends, husbands, friend fall outs, fights, family dynamics and corporate america storylines. Its to the point that fans online are in deep discussions even 18 years after the show ended. Either way its going to be a rollercoaster and I'm excited!
