See now, I friggin love this channel. This right here💪. Y'all been my favorite youtube channel but this just solidified it. 💛💛💛💛 ps. Yall must've totally missed the remarks when his father kept calling him big nose. The brothers as well.

The official lyrics are "Keep on, with the force don't stop..." Michael saw Star Wars and literally tapped in to "The Force" when he wrote Don't Stop Til You Get Enough".

Since you were speaking about the Beatles, Sam Mendes is bringing out a Beatles franchise in April. There will be 4 films and each film will be on each one of the Beatles and each film comes out in the month of April. Also great young cast: Harris Dickinson is cast as John Lennon, Paul Mescal is cast as Paul McCartney, Joseph Quinn is cast as George Harrison, and Barry Keoghan is cast as Ringo Starr.

Love this! Now yall gotta look at The Jacksons: An American Dream!

Syd

So yes react to The Jackson’s American Dream on Patreon if you can. You can still buy it on DVD. I bought it last month. There is also a copy of it on the internet archive website. Remastered quality. Also yes this movie is getting a part two. Micheal’s career was real long. We would’ve been in the theater for 6 hours. The controversy happened after the bad era, so it wouldn’t have been addressed in this one. Also a bunch of the stories you hear about Micheal are true, it’s lots of video showing it. He was really just that whimsical 😂

Syd

If you can’t find a way to react to the Jackson’s American dream make it up to us with watching the New Edition story.

Find all of those who didn’t see The Bodyguard and group watch that. That’s Whitney Houston peak

The glitter socks walk-in in the intro was originally the MJJ Productions intro. Most notably seen in the intro of the Moonwalker movie.

FLORIDABOYYY

After watching this its only right you watch the original biopic based on jackson 5. Released in 1992. Its called " the jacksons an american dream" a lot of people forgot about it but its really good

There's a video on youtube of Jermaine Jackson and his two sons (Jaafar being one of them) singing Christmas songs, that went viral because of how much Jaafar sounded like Mike.

River Red Casting, Inc.

Jaby said Jaafar should get an Oscar nomination for this. I totally agree. Think about it: This is literally his first acting gig. He was only 13 years old when his uncle passed away. So he didn't have a lot of personal time with Michael. So for him to have embodied his uncle the way he did, based solely off footage, is unbelievable!

For Achara: The "tea" was that apparently Janet and Reebie didn't want to be portrayed in the film. That's why they're not in it. But, for me, the ONLY real piece of their story that I would've liked to see, is the actual reason why Joe decided to develop them into a singing group. That reason is because Tito kept sneaking and playing Joe's guitar while Joe was at work. And somehow Joe found out, and after disciplining Tito...Joe made Tito show him why he was so eager to play the guitar. This is how Joe discovered the boys were all interested in singing and performing.

That would have been nice to see how they got into singing and performing. It certainly would have been clearer that the kids had an interest in music rather than a dad that pushed them hard to do it (but perhaps it’s also a mixture of both). - AK

Great reaction, I was waiting on you guys to do this one. A few things I wanted to point out. * Joe wasn’t the villain. You guys have to understand something Joe Jackson is the generation before boomers. And he’s black. Back in that time you didn’t talk back to your parents. It didn’t matter if you were a child or an adult - you just didn’t do that back then. And sometimes I hear people giving Katherine crap without realizing also back in those days, the man was the man of the house, and what he said went - end of conversation. So she stayed silent about a lot of things. And that’s another reason why it took Michael so long to stand up to Joe and even when he did, he did it in an indirect way. The part that left out is that Joe Jackson actually wanted his kids to do something that would not lead them to being on the streets in gangs and doing drugs. He didn’t want his kids on the street and he was adamant about that - but the movie did not explore that. And when you mix that idea with the very strict timeframe that he came from, he wasn’t the villain. The problem is that a lot of younger generations only look at things through the lens of modern today. That was a different time. * What people don’t realize is that when Michael started inviting kids out to the Neverland Ranch- He invited disabled / handicapped / sick kids in hospitals, but the media never said that part they only talked about the part when he started allowing regular kids to come (which was around the time he met Macaulay Culkin) —- the problems started because of the parents of those regular kids- who saw a payday. * I think you guys missed the part when Joe told him he had a big nose when he was a kid. He used to tell him he was ugly and that he had a big nose all the time and he grew up to take that on as a personal insecurity. * Regarding Janet- everyone has to understand that Janet built her entire career on her own 2 feet. Imagine being in the shadow of not just ANY famous sibling but THEE most famous person on earth. Janet never rode the coattails of her last name. In fact, many of her albums. Don’t even have her last name on them. Her very first album. She didn’t want her last name to even be on the album because she wanted people to like her for her. And by the time Janet was born, her brothers were already starting to blow up. So Janet played no part in Michael’s story per se. Also, there’s been so much nonsense said about Michael over the years. Janet’s whole thing is if you’re gonna tell the whole story, then tell the whole story. But if you can’t do that because of legal reasons or simply because of the fact that this is a movie and you cannot condense Michael Jackson’s life into a two or three hour movie. You would have to do three or four movies to actually cover his life. Hell, she has been offered and turned down her own biopic for that reason. That’s why she did a bio series that’s on Hulu and it’s four hours long and it’s just about her personal life. It’s not even about her career accomplishments. That’s a different bio series that’s coming out this year or next, which will also be about four hours just to cover her career. Because again her whole thing is if you’re gonna tell the whole thing tell the whole thing and unfortunately, you cannot do that in a movie. Also, they sort of touched on this in the movie but many of Michael’s siblings…. Continued the sort of Joe Jackson philosophy of Michael being the cash cow of the family. And no shade to any siblings involved in this movie but when you look specifically at the siblings that were, it’s the siblings that has used his success for their own gain. Years ago, when Michael died, there was a separation in the family between the estate, and Janet, Randy, Rebbie and even Katherine- because other people in the estate were fighting for his money. So there’s a lot mixed in to “why” Janet wasn’t involved in this. But there isn’t any hard feelings she didn’t have anything negative to say about the end result of the movie that was all a lie the media tried to push. She just didn’t want to be involved. * you guys should really watch Jackson American dream - the TV movie that came out in the early 90s Angela Bassett plays Katherine. And that movie spent all of its time with Michael’s and the Jackson 5 youth. You guys would get more of the stuff that you’re talking about with Joe Jackson and how strict he was. You will get more of that context there. *One last thing, michael wore white socks and high rise pants showing the socks (along with the 1 sparkle glove and sparkly clothing) because he wanted the person all the way in the nose bleed seats at his concert, to be able to see his movements. It was all purposeful 😁

Dana Rankin

The Jackson 5 American Dream is a more in depth look at the early years of the Jackson. How they got started musically. It includes the more of family as well . It's really worth watching👍

Erick

Can you guys please react to “interview with the vampire “ the tv series on AMC ? It’s incredible

Cody Price

There is going to be a part 2 of Michael.

If you want to see another great performance in a musical biopic, checkout The Buddy Holly Story. This was Gary Busey’s best performance of his career in 1977 and got him an Oscar nomination for Best Actor for playing the legendary rock and roll artist, Buddy Holly. Gary also does his own singing and guitar playing in the film, and also all the musical performances were recorded live when they were filming as well.

Cody Price

Got to checkout King Arthur and Magnificent Seven that Antoine Fuqua directed. The action in both films are phenomenal.

Cody Price

Also you should checkout Antoine Fuqua’s Olympus Has Fallen. It’s basically Die Hard at the White House with Gerard Butler’s secret service agent Mike Banning being this film’s version of John McClaine. Also, there are two more films to the franchise, London Has Fallen and Angel has Fallen but Antoine Fuqua only directed the first one, Olympus Has Fallen.

Cody Price

Also, you talked about not seeing Ice Cube’s son, OShea Jackson Jr., in other acting roles other than Straight out of Compton. Got to checkout him in the Den of Thieves franchise starring Gerard Butler and OShea Jackson Jr. Both give phenomenal acting performances in those films. They are both films are as underrated as the Accountant franchise.

Great reaction! The netflix documentary is very biased has incorrect info regarding his controversies + allegations and includes producers who worked on anti-mj docs while he was alive/dead. I would also suggest watching the documentary "square one" on amazon prime as it shows a "pro" MJ side mainstream media does not promote about his cases. There is also a creator on instagram named @Jbunzie (jessica vill) who debunks netflix + different mainstream inaccuracies about his cases, including the netflix doc on her instagram reels.

I think we're used to being spoon-fed backstories so we expect it. But often times men (specifically Black men) of those times didn't have a 'backstory' that was known. Marvin Gaye's dad was an absolute nightmare who ultimately ended up shooting his son, but no one knows his dad's full story. A lot of them grew up with fathers in the home without actually KNOWING their father. It's very 'Mad Men'. So, I think their perspective may have been - he behaved this way, but we don't know why? 🤷🏾‍♀️

Diamond O'Dear

I vote for bootleg Jackson’s: An American Dream stream on Patreon! I feel like you have to see the difference in the portrayal of Joe Jackson and the family dynamics between this and the Michael movie.

Kiara Robinson

Please watch Olympus has fallen. It’s great!!

Ryanne Brown

Good reaction but 4 people is to much, way to much conversation in this reaction and over talking one another.
