Fatalistic Viking

You guys have to check out The Animatrix. It contains several short animated stories that gives you more world building that you never knew that you wanted until you see them. We learn how humanity fell and what led to our current situation. You'll also get the Kid's back story and why Neo says that he didn't save the Kid but he saved himself. I honestly love the Animatrix and wish more people react to it. If you thought that you love the Kid now you'll love him even more once you know his story.

I think one of the best explanation of the Matrix franchise, and especially about why Agent Smith is not the Villain of the series, but the Oracle 100% is (even though on a surface level she seems to sympathise with humanity... unless you start analysing everything she said, as well as the Architect's conversation with Neo) can be found in a well-done and well-made YouTube video made by a fan (it's approximately 2 hours long, but it's reaaaally worth it, especially for people who may feel a bit confused by the story) in which he made a deep dive into EVERYTHING. Here is the link of the video, in any case you, or someone you know, is interested in watching it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mNvaOrReZzU
