WATCH THE BOBBY BROWN MOVIE NEXT!!! THEY FILMED BOTH THE NEW EDITION MOVIE AND THE BOBBY MOVIE AT THE SAME TIME USING THE SAME CAST!!!! WHITNEY IS HEAVILY AND GREATLY PORTRAYED IN BOBBY'S MOVIE.

Ron B.

I hope you all check out the Bobby Brown movie as well. It stars the same actor as this movie and you get cameos from some of the other guys. Def. need that reaction to The Jacksons: an American Dream.

Gabss Davis

ALSO: ALL 6 MEMBERS still perform together in the present day AND BROOKE still works with them

Robin

Yall don’t even know!! I have been avoiding the side by side reaction since day one, but this video made me change my mind and go against all of my beliefs 🤣🤣 Yall make me sick 🤦🏽‍♀️😂🤦🏽‍♀️😂

David Martin

This is one of the best biopics ever....tv or movie. You can tell they were a part of this series every step of the way. The honesty, vulnerability, and heart that was displayed was magical. You can literally go on YouTube and watch that tense interview they did and the BET performance and its damn near perfect step for step.

River Red Casting, Inc.

Paid In Full (Mekhi Phifer, Wood Harris, Regina Hall, Cam'ron). Trust me!

LITERALLY. 👏Right.👏 on.👏 time. My food just finished warming and I came to see if anything interesting had been uploaded to watch along with. 'Cause all these new and returning Series/movies are dark/intense this season and i just want to laugh on a Friday & not try to solve a crime or mystery, be mad sad, or downbad😅 (still the best genre😬)......Look at the gluttony food gods & Cinepals coming in clutch! 😂 Thank you!

CineJump

It’ll be releasing in the evening. You guys get it here first 😉

Ron B.

Yep I just watched them perform this year. They still got it.

Guys, great reaction! And yes, New Edition is STILL together and still touring, with ALL SIX members, including Bobby. In fact, they just finished The New Edition Way Tour in April 2026 with Boyz II Men and Toni Braxton. They also had a sold-out Las Vegas residency before that. I had the pleasure of interning with MCA Records back in the day, and I can tell you that this series is VERY accurate. They did NOT pull any punches with this story. The guys were heavily involved in making the miniseries. They helped select the actors who portrayed them, worked with them on the choreography and performances, and were regularly on set. They wanted their story told truthfully, the good, the bad, AND the ugly. And they allowed things to be shown that they could have very easily kept private. And New Edition had way more hits than they were able to show in the miniseries. Those on-stage fights really happened! 😂 And one of the biggest examples of how honest they were was Ricky's addiction. Most of us who had followed New Edition for decades had NO IDEA Ricky had struggled with addiction until this miniseries came out. They could have left that part out, but they didn't. They told the truth. And you might not believe this, but Bobby was actually the nicest and kindest member of the group to me. Maybe I just always caught him when he was sober, but he was genuinely nice, respectful, and easy to talk to. Ralph would probably be next on my list. But Ricky? Whew! 😂 Ricky was an absolute JERK! LOL. Knowing now what he was going through during some of those years, I sometimes wonder if that had something to do with my experiences with him. But at the time? I just thought Ricky was a jerk! 😂 One thing I also think people forget is how successful Mike Bivins became outside of New Edition. For a while, Mike was a major force in the music business. He had his own label and helped develop and launch several successful artists, with Boyz II Men being by far the biggest. He really understood the business side of the industry and was doing much more than just performing. And here's another piece of New Edition history some people may have forgotten: after their years with MCA, New Edition eventually signed with Diddy's Bad Boy Records. They released the album One Love on Bad Boy in 2004. That relationship didn't last, but yes, New Edition actually had a Bad Boy era! With all of that said, New Edition is still one of my favorite groups of all time. For those of us who came up in that era, we literally grew up right alongside New Edition. When “Candy Girl” came out, they were 12- and 13-year-old kids singing in videos that clearly had NO real budget 😂, and we were kids right there with them. We watched them go from five boys from Boston, to four after Bobby left, back to five when Johnny joined, through the MCA years, solo careers, Bell Biv DeVoe, reunions, the Bad Boy era, breakups and comebacks, and all the way to today. We didn't discover New Edition later in life. We grew up together. That's what makes them different for our generation. Hell, most of us can do that dance routine to "If It Isn't Love" LOL That's why New Edition hits differently for our generation. They aren't just a group whose music we listened to. Their music marks different chapters of our lives. We grew up right alongside them, and more than 40 years later, they're still here, and WE ARE TOO! New Edition isn't just part of R&B history and the culture; they're a big part of the soundtrack of our lives. ❤️

This! I wanted to say that too, but my comment is already so long.

Brad B

Fun fact: When Ralph got remarried, him and Ricky actually had a double wedding. They married their wives together.

Brad B

And Ronnie’s wedding actually took place after their reunion show at BET. But I guess since this miniseries was a BET production, they wanted to end it off with a performance at a BET sponsored show. Lol. And yes, Bobby really did wear all white at the wedding. Great reaction, guys.

Gabss Davis

LISTEN!!!! IT IS MY JAMMMMMM

Peaches

This biopic was made so damn well. I can never get tired of watching it!!! New Edition for life.

Naj.

My mom saw them on tour this year. They're 100% still going strong.

Donnie

I said it before but I suggest rounding up every one who hasn’t seen The Bodyguard (Whitney Houston) and watching it together. Don’t watch her biopic first lol it won’t hit the same

Tim Campbell

Right! I still listen to it. So when Achara said that I said ....Whaaa?👀

Sadia Reina

I am a new member. Can someone help me remove the blur off the videos please?

CineJump

Hi Sadia, you need to also have access to the mini series itself. I believe it’s available on Paramount plus now. You open up the episode in a separate window and press play on the episode when we reach “1” on the countdown. I hope this helps!

Julie

I watched the Bobby Brown story again and you guys have to watch that one. When you guys have your reaction I will watch it again. You also need to watch the TLC story. Of course An American Dream The Jackson’s, I sure hope you guys find it.

Chris P

I agree with the TLC story and the Bobby Brown story. I don't think they'll be able to upload Jackson's An American Dream.

Chris P

TLC Story and Bobby Brown Story. Also, The Fan starring Patton Oswalt.

Tyanna D

They have to watch the bet awards 2017 performance of new edition so they can see the talent like the movie def showed it..hopefully they catch the Bobby brown biopic too

Robin

I think you should keep the black biopics coming….❤️❤️ The Bobby Brown Story (2018) There is also Whitney Houston: I Wanna Dance with Somebody (2022) Thanks so much 🥰 You’re the best!!!!

Bre

Why does it keep disappearing on YouTube?
