You should have had Michael and Brandon do this reaction. They’re sooo much better and don’t scream, laugh and act ridiculous like Kristen. Michael/Brandon are such a great pair & actually think about the movie and respond like professionals, unlike Kristen who is always over the top with her screams and ridiculous loud laughs. This is an amazing movie and should have the appropriate panel review it.

This was written by Taylor Sheridan. He is one of my favorite screenwriters. I highly recommend his other written films as well: his oscar nominated screenplay for Hell or High Water, Wind River (his directing debut), Sicario: Day of the Soldado, Without Remorse, and Those Who Wish Me Dead. He is also currently writing a Call of Duty film for Paramount.

Taylor Sheridan has also created or written a lot of hit television shows since 2018. He also has a skill of getting A-list film actors to come over for his television projects. The reason why he is able to do this is after doing Yellowstone, and became a household name, he started pitching his projects to the A-list actor first and once they are on board then he writes or develops the show specifically for that character and the actor playing that character. Those hit television projects are Yellowstone (5 seasons; Kevin Costner), 1883 (miniseries; Sam Elliott); Mayor of Kingstown (Jeremy Renner; going into it’s fifth and final season); 1923 (a designed 2 season show; Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren); Tulsa King (going into it’s 4th season; Sylvester Stallone); Lioness (finishing it’s 3rd season; Zoe Saldana, Nicole Kidman, and Morgan Freeman); Landman (devolving its third season; Billy Bob Thornton and Demi Moore); The Madison (going into it’s 2nd season; Michelle Pfeiffer and Kurt Russell). Next year he has a new show coming out that is a spin-off to Tulsa King called Frisco King and it will star Samuel L. Jackson.

Why was Kristen talking so much jeez. Constantly talking and telling stories about holidays over dialogue that was relevant to the story and character development. Not a good reaction tbh. Alli would have definitely worked better with one of the other reactors as she was clearly trying to pay attention but Kristen constantly distracted her from the movie.

So you’re ok with her behavior; loud, over the top and annoying? You find it entertaining while watching the movie/show? I love everyone else on this channel and have only great things to say but seriously, there’s an issue here. I can’t even watch the reactions that she’s involved in. I try and then have to turn it off. I’m not even a picky or rude person, but I’d like the channel to know that there’s an issue.

Yes, thank you for saying this! It’s exactly what I said above in these comments. I don’t believe that it’s just us that feels this way. Thank you for saying something, like I did. The channel needs to know this is how we feel. If the channel needs to keep her, put her on the comedy movies/shows where she can be free to act over the top & tell her stories.

Taylor Sheridan writes the second one because they ask him to, not because he wants to do it. Sicario is part of a three movie thematic trilogy: Sicario, Hell or High Water and Wind River - they're all great movies in completely different ways. Sicario 2 I went to see at the cinema and it was "okay" - I'm not somebody who gets all spectrum about sequels - I know that Aliens is an objectively better movie than Alien and T2 is an objectively better movie than Terminator (because they are) even though the originals are more *important* in cinema history: that's not the case here. That isn't to say it is a bad movie either, it is well worth watching (and by that point a third movie actually was intended and never got made, though supposedly it is in active development again), but I'd hit the original intended trilogy first all day long.

That is what she does, she is currently watching a couple comedy tv shows. Give her a break im sure its not easy to just adjust with each different thing they have to watch.

I think the main issue for some people is that Kristin is more of a casual viewer. This movie isn't fast paced and there are a lot of shots or scenes with ambiance and not needed to pay close attention, strictly speaking. It's not a dialogue heavy movie. It's a Denis Villeneuve movie where there's heavy atmosphere and less on dialogue, in contrast to someone like Aaron Sorkin. I can understand the some of the gripes but it didn't break the reaction for me. Some people aren't as built to be what you might refer to as "cinephiles".
