Please do not delete this. I am simply giving fair criticism of the episode itself. This show, by every objective metric, is racist against everyone - racist against black people for showing that the only way a black man gets the ring is by stealing Hal Jordan's, and racist towards white people by making Hal Jordan out to be this awful person when, both in the show and in the comics, he does nothing of the sort, especially as, in the comics, he is the most beloved Green Lantern that ever existed. (My personal favourite is John Stewart in the comics, but personal favourites aren't objective truths.)

Also, outside of this episode, I am hoping the next DC animated movie is uploaded today. I look forward to those each week, as both Ali and Vivian give entertaining commentary.

Standard reply when someone cannot defeat my argument. I have Jon Stewart's whole original run (vol 2 1971), I have Dark stars, Mosaic, and Cosmic Odyssey.

My friend, this show is clearly not vibing with you. You don't have to continue watching it, especially if you're going to continue not understanding it. This isn't a comic written for kids and teenagers to read, its an HBO primetime show written for adults that can recognize more complex themes.

This is the most condensending reply you could have given. I am very aware of what it's trying to be, unfortunately I am saddled with what the show actually is - which is, an overtly racist TV show, thinking it's more intelligent than it actually is, aimed at people who only understand surface level intellectualism. Buffy the vampire slayer was able to achieve more depth in an episode than this show could ever do it's entire series. Oh, and fyi, not that it's any of your business, but I review these shows for a living, but even if I didn't, I'll watch what I want - even slop like this.
