The First and Last scenes are from "Maryada Ramanna" by Rajamouli and this movie is bit of a satirical comedy on the Action-Faction movies. Its nice funny movie, please watch it whenever you can... There is a BAD Bollywood remake of this movie, do not go anywhere near that.

Vishal Kuppili

If we are to nitpick, that Swedish sequence got remade in Kambaqht Ishq - an Akshay Kumar movie. So, technically that's Bollywood as well.

That remake is Son of Sardar...😀😀😀(Ajay Devgn film).. But the original was itself inspired by Our Hospitality of Buster Keaton... Son of Sardar is kinda good as a mindless comedy

Michael Reddy

That Swedish Thing was literally copied in Om Shanti Om(Srk movie). Akshay Kumar did it in that, he was doing a cameo. Man it was fun...

Anirudh

You probably already know this but the first 10 seconds of the Black Eyed Peas' 'Don't Phunk With My Heart' is sampled from the song 'Yeh Mera Dil' from the movie Don. Also, Will.I.Am did a cover (a shitty one in my opinion) of A. R. Rahman's Urvasi song. It's called 'It's My Birthday'.

Rejitha

I am yet to watch this video. Just wanted to share that Maniratnam's Roja completed 28 years this August 15th. It would be a good time to review the movie and please watch it in Tamil

No.. not Roja... It will feel dated... Kannathil Muthamittal or Raavanan would be good. Both are by Mani Sir

Rejitha

Yes. I suggested that in the Maniratnam video too. Since we didn't get that, I thought this might be a good one. Kannathil Muthamittal would expose them to yet another complex history of India and it's neighbor. One that is not talked about a lot. But Raavanan is aesthetically stunning and won't feel dated in terms of style. Let Jaby and Achara make their choice. 😇

Please do more of Tamil songs from Sankar movies like I, Anniyan, Jeans, Nanban etc, the songs and the MV is so good

Voted it Up 👍 I hope Jaby and Achara watch the entire movie. They're going to watch I anyway and if they're interested in Vikram, maybe they will watch this.

Kunal Kaskar

That cop shooting from pelvis scene is from a swidish movie

Suchith Kumar
