It's here! (Finally). Sorry for the wait guys, and thanks for your patience. Three and a half hours of Karan Johar 90s magic.

If you are new, you will need to have your own copy of the movie in a separate window in order to watch with us. We watched the one on Amazon Prime Video but it is also available on Netflix (and I'm sure on other platforms as well). Press play on your video when Jaby says "one" in the 3,2,1 countdown. We've also added a timer to help you sync up.

Enjoy!

Karan Johar has said that this was his take on the Archie, Betty and Veronica love story. He created a bollywood version of Riverdale with Anupam Kher playing Mr. Weatherbee… As a 10 year old kid I loved this movie. Now we can laugh at it and feel nostalgic. SRK-Kajol have amazing chemistry…you guys should check out DDLJ next…if you are not tired of this genre already.

That makes so much sense! But who was Veronica? Because if Tina was supposed to be Veronica, she was way too nice!

I guess she was desi Veronica, who was nice and sexy at the same time 😝

Did you both pick up on the fact that the I don't like jokes, I don't like you dialogue between SRK and Kajol during the college basketball match was used in Kabhi Kushi Kabhi Ghum too as a reference to KKHH in the scene with SRK's flat tyre lol Also Johhny Lever the comic legend from KKKG (the guy who with his wife and child bicker back and forth with Hrithik about Rahul and Anjali's location) was the Summer Camp guy Col Almeida 😊

kshitij pareek

i think u should watch Don(2006) if u havent cause i only found cortney's review on your channel

kshitij pareek

sharukh khan as an antagonist rather than the usual romantic hero

Dee

I cried a lot when I first saw the movie in 1998. Achara and I should never watch a film together. We both need a Jaby to balance out. :D

Rupak Vp

Theres also family movies like hum saath saath hain which u could watch. Pretty sure both of these movies are on netflix.

Akshay Pande

Hi, can you react to Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna?

Shean Roldhan

Sarpatta Parambarai movie review please.

Afreen Khan

Yes please watch kabhi alvida na kehna. It was ahead of its time for indian audiences. I know you guys will have fun watching it. And DO A WATCHALONG.

Monu

Please do Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, it’s goofy but more fun.

Aparna

Such a good movie, literally never gets old 😊

Apoorva Naivedyam

In love with these uncut watch alongs . 💖 please never end them and if possible keep them pouring in 😬 as a SRK fan, Next possible: Chak de India. Big in time for the Olympics too 💪🏻

Megh Trivedi

Been watching Jaby/Achara for a long time now, but this movie watch-along made me join their Patreon today. For many of us 1st gen Indian Americans, these late 90s/early 00s movies are so ingrained in our childhoods. I'm sure many can relate to me that we know these scenes inside and out. It's amazing to see Achara and Jaby watch this for the first time. Kind of like when a Harry Potter lover makes a friend watch the movie for the first time and see the joy on their faces! Please keep these watch-alongs coming!

Shavin Anganan

A lot of the portions are shot in Mauritius...beaches included

Amisha Gandhi

Hello Jaby and Achara! Been watching your content for a few years now and I love your reactions and discussions. I’d appreciate it if you could do a watch along for Karan Arjun (1995) !

Kushagra Soni

I became a patreon to watch this movie along with you guys. Jaby, you got a lot of catch up to do with Achara. She gets stuff so much sometimes i doubt she prepares beforehand for a video reaction. Love you guys.

Bloody Vanessa

There was a really funny story where Kajol was riding a bike in a scene and fell off and hit her head and actually lost her memory for a bit. I would also like to point out this is a first movie that Karan directed.

nice trip down memory lane. saw this over a decade ago for the first time and it changed my life! i dont know if i could have enjoyed it as much if i didnt have my upbringing. between musicals, soap operas and kpop, i was made for bollywood lol. seeing them in their college days gave me nothing but 90s kpop flashbacks. the vibrate colors, the fashions, the dancing, straight up coyote mixed with some sech kies fo sho!
