Some great clips. The Lindsay Graham bit sounded like a confession in a criminal trial from an unrepentant serial killer. The Rhodes clip was also instructive. Although the real problem remains the incentive structure in the political system. One measure of our political health will be if there is some level of accountability for genuinely catastrophic policy choices. e.g. for a brief period of time there was a kind of litmus test for the Iraq War in 2006 and 2008, at least within the Democratic Party; Trump kind of capitalized on it in 2016. However, the fact that Hillary Clinton and Biden were eventually rehabilitated to such a degree that they were even allowed to be presidential nominees for the party speaks to something pretty rotten. Although things may be turning in connection with Israel policy and ongoing primaries.
