Thank you for the episode. Regarding the Israel lobby's interest in social media control. I'm convinced the latest push for banning under 16 or 18s from social media is a part of this push for media control. Since you need to verify the identity of every user to ban under some age. I think it also begins the lay the groundwork for banning foreign social media (that is outside of control from the Israel lobby) without the need to for a real explanation like the tech leaders quotes you provide in the episode show.

So good! Another great example of objectivity examining Israel from Jewish voices. I believe any potential path to a “peace-ish?” solution has to include a strong Jewish voice, particularly a strong Jewish American voice. I don’t know how accurate such things are, but from what I’ve seen estimates show over an 80% American Jewish approval of Israel, still. I think that number has to get much lower to make any lasting headway. If not, anti-zionism will continue to be conflated with antisemitism, and our collective march toward a panopticon of techo-fascism continues.

Such an important book for the era. The holocostia mindset are especially interesting: it's cognitive dissonance like climate change deniers.

This one is kind of hard to get through. The question of which party holds the reigns is such a waste of time. Israel and the U.S. are both monstrous criminal regimes. Commenting on the commentary around this question seems like a frivolous waste of time. Likewise, theres so much wasteful discussion of how the genocide of Arab Muslims and Christians and the indiscriminate murder of Iranians being carried out by the U.S. and Israel reflects poorly on American Jews, makes (some of) them feel bad, makes them feel unsafe or contributes to a rise in Antisemitism. I don't know of another case where so much breath was wasted on the repercussions for a group proximal to the perpetrators. During south African Apartheid (which now feels an inappropriate comparison) was there much ink spilled over how this reflected poorly on whites around the world and made them sad and feel afraid that it would contribute to the rise of anti whiteness?? Its snowflake behavior and another expression of Jewish privilege.
