These frequent re postings are becoming a bummer. When I see a message from Patreon I first think "Super! A new RWN episode!". And promptly get painfully disappointed when I see that it's merely a techno-glitch caused repost.

I was of the understanding that the Nihilism of the 19th century radicals spoken of at the very end of this broadcast referred to the belief of said radicals that the entire Russian society and political system was hopelessly corrupt and needed to be totally annihilated. There was of course some vague notion of a more just or socialist society to replace it with, but they never got as far as that in the 19th century.
