Ren'Py Safe Combination Puzzle Tutorial - Part 6

In this last part of the safe combination puzzle tutorial using the Ren'Py engine, we're finishing things up by adding the safe handle with the indicator light, showing the user if the combination they entered was right or wrong together with a "success" and "error" sound effect. We also implement the "opened safe" screen with the content that goes inside, as well as a reset functionality so that a player can reset the dial in case they accidentally entered in a wrong number and wants to start over. If you feel something is unclear in the video, such as why we are coding something in a certain way, feel free to leave a comment below and I'll see if I can explain it a bit better. »»» Links where you can support me ««« Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/ess_renpy_tutorials itch.io: https://ess-vn-assets.itch.io/ *** About this channel *** Welcome to my channel! I create mini-game tutorials for the Ren'Py visual novel engine for those of you who want to spice up your visual novels with some more advanced game-play mechanics. My tutorials usually mix Ren'Py's own scripting language together with Python, so it's good if you have some knowledge on how to use Python code as well. I don't have a specific upload schedule, but I try to get new videos out regularly. Thank you for watching my videos and I hope they are helpful!
