The figure surges through the battlefield, lunging with impossible speed to land a strike from afar. They move faster than the eye can see, and they seem to almost teleport through combat. Within seconds, the fight was over.

Before we start: this has nothing to do with the movie! Sorry if you were expecting cyberpunk - that's for later.

The idea of using movement as a resource had been around since the Scadrial Handbook's Steelrunner. I struggled with developing fighter class without getting too close to any of the other classes; so I focused on a fighting technique that would benefit from multiple attacks. The 10th level feature is perfect for this fighter, as the more attacks you land, the faster you become!

At 3rd level, the Empowered Strike forms the subclass' foundation; the extra d4 damage per hit scales up gradually, similar to the Battlemaster's d8. Even if the fighter gets extra damage per hit, it is actually lower than the Battlemaster's in most situations!

The Extended Strikes provides a minor benefit more useful for a ranged fighters, since melee fighters already benefit from additional strikes. However, an extended reach attack can be useful in certain situations.

At 7th and 10th level, the fighter gets exploration features in climbing and bonus action Use Object, allowing them to quickly sweep through a room without slowing down.

Also at 10th level, the fighter gains movement per hit, which also scales up with the Fighter's multiple attacks, allowing them to regain needed resources for their Empowered and Extended Strikes.

At 18th level, the fighter gets a limited Time Stop - not for attacks, but only for situations where the fighter can set up a combat environment, weaken enemies, scout a room, or more! It's great for exploration, roleplay, and even some combat prep!

I can't wait to try this one out in one of my games! Unfortunately, probably never will get to use the 18th level feature, but that's okay.
