This weapon is one part of two - the Sun and Moon Shards. It is a slightly obvious idea (there's already a Sun Blade in D&D), but I knew I wanted something terrifying. This sword contains a miniaturized sun, which I ended up expanding on the lore of in the flavor text. I considered developing a setting to streamline/flavor the compendium, but it's a lot of work. I'd probably keep it all in the flavor text unless it gets really exciting.
