[Cosmos] Monster - Behemoth (Patreon)

As you pull your spacecraft around the looming asteroid, you catch the marvelous sight of the behemoth - tunneling its way out of the rocky material. Unfortunately, it also catches sight of you. Your crew tenses as a massive pulse of gravity rocks the vehicle and objects scatter across the room from the distorted gravity. You begin to regret coming on this science mission. Who can you pray to at a time like this...?

The first iteration of this monster was a space worm, or space whale, and I ran with an ExoKraken name until I realized that was too confusing!

Anyways, the behemoth lurks traveled areas like the kraken. Unlike the kraken, it has a deep connection to gravity. This CR 28 creature and should only be encountered with a full fleet or army in tow. It has a few tricks up its sleeve like the kraken does, including swallowing creatures, breaking ships, and slowing people down. The Gravity Storm pulls creatures, vehicles, objects, and if possible, crushes them against each other.

I especially like the flavor I was able to add, such as the connection to dunamancy, the potential ancient race of cosmic manipulators, and the terrifying regional effect of being drawn to the behemoth if you're not being very careful. The silicon-based lifeform is taken from the Qhralli race, of course, and is suited for a space encounter. I expect it to be a vehicle-based encounter, whether in space or in the sky.
