I learned that the "scarab" is a distinguished archeological term simply because ancient Egyptians loved scarab-shaped amulets and trinkets for so much.

This highly magical relic once belonged to the Oathean throne and is still loyal to it. I wanted to make a sentient item this time around without it being legendary or an artifact. The familiar magenta of Oathean Sand returns here along with four depictions of the Setasi pantheon. This scarab has some basic and useful spells. It also has a few unique abilities - a situational one that turns sand into usable objects, and a more useful one that protects you from magic.
