[Sands] Monster - Adult Sandworm (Patreon)

Jahani first noticed the silence when the trader's conversation stalled: an uncomfortable, uneasy sound that only shows itself when the wind dies. She signaled to her guards from her caravan and gripped her sword tighter, scanning the horizon for what seemed like hours. By the time she heard the shifting of sand, it was already too late, and all she saw was darkness as her caravan tumbled into the sandstorm.

You can't have a desert theme without a sand worm TM. This one initially had a unique name, but I later decided to draft up different ages for it.

The Sandworm, along with its younger counterparts, uses a special burrowing mechanic. It was hard to word, but hopefully I made it sufficiently clear. Whenever the sandworm moves or comes out of the ground, it disturbs the ground and knocks creatures prone.

I also like the idea of different Recharge conditions for its one-use moves, as well as the idea of a constantly changing terrain with the blinding dust. As the sandworm continues burrowing and using the Sand Blast, it gains the upper hand thanks to its blindsight and tremorsense.
