Welcome to April! It's a month of Botany as voted on by the previous poll (the next one goes live on April 11th and runs for a week). Thank you to all new patrons - it's really touching to almost double in patrons! :DDD

I'm planning on about half items and half plant monsters this month, plus a table of nonmagical plants with uses and recipes. Let's see how I do!

---

Vines and hardy plants grow uncontrollably around this rake, attracted by its innate druidic magic. Guards of the Floating Gardens wield these rakes to assist with plant maintenance and defense. The occasional rake is gifted to traveling botanists who prove their worth and dedication to the scientific cause.

Guardener's RakeWeapon (mace), uncommon (requires attunement)

This weapon deals piercing damage instead of bludgeoning. It has 3 charges for the following properties and regains 1d3 expended charges daily at dawn.

Sow. The rake plants seeds that quickly sprout. When you hit a target with this weapon, you can expend a charge and cause magical tendrils to entangle the target. The target must succeed on a DC 13 Strength saving throw or be restrained for 1 minute. The target can use an action to repeat the save, ending the condition on a success.

Rake. The rake magically sows seeds along the ground. As an action, you can expend a charge to create three identical parallel walls of harmless plants, each spaced 5 feet apart. The middle wall starts from a point on the ground you can see within 15 feet of you and extends in a direction of your choice; the outer two walls are created appropriately. You can make the walls up to 20 feet long, 10 feet high, and 1 foot thick. Each 5-foot section of wall can be destroyed (AC 12, 10 hp, vulnerability to fire damage). These walls last for 1 minute or until destroyed.
