Ichiro is voiced by Tomokazu Seki, who’s well known for hot-blooded, hammy roles. Some of his characters are Gilgamesh from the Fate franchise, Sanemi Shinazugawa (Wind Hashira) from Demon Slayer.

It's kind of weird, but Ryoga really does seem to be Ranma's closest male friend, in a tsundere way. Not that there's much competition considering the freak factor of a lot of the other male fighters. It is pretty impressive that even though the plot and structure of this is pretty similar to the gymnast match, it still seems fresh.
