So the author keeps using the male friend to move the plot, trying to make us believe Enomoto is even a threat when it's so obvious they are fighting an impossibly uphill battle? All they do is pop in from time to time, meanwhile we get extensive insight on Yu and Himari's minds and development, yeah, no way she's losing this.
