Honestly Dunns fault Kenley died. We already know the assassin pathway has mirror substitution, and for some reason he gives the mirror to Kenley when Klein has precognition. Looked like he knew to attack the statue as well, but again for some reason didn’t pass along that info…. Sus

As far as i understand it , klein summoned himself instead of summoning a messenger unlike what daly and azik does.

he gave mirror to kenley because klein is higher sequence so he must have free hands to fight when lower sequence kenley provides support (use artifact) its logical decision. And they did not knew it was demoness of pleasure. they suspected its only seq 7 witch, and demoness of pleasure has incomparable better sense of danger so she knew something is wrong and was prepered. In world of lotm preperation before battle is very big advantage. same as when clown (seq 7) could trap three seq 7 + two seq 8 + seq 9 because he was prepered

They weren’t expecting a fight, so him needing his hands free to fight makes no sense. Klein would have just stood there if the plan went accordingly. The “logical deduction” would be my original comment. Give the mirror to the person with precognition. Prep would be using the information you already have to prevent the obvious outcome when using a mirror that kills you when you look in it against someone with mirror substitution

-Spoiler free answers- The messenger spell Klien was doing is normally to summon a messenger spirit for you, like Dally's little whisp head, Aziks skeleton too, but it's a little special, but similar enough. You use three lines of descriptions of what you want to some, like an honorific name, but more describing what you want it to be and hope something answers. Such as friendly, reliable, fast, sturdy, puppet, independent, ect. Klien was, as usual, messing with the ritual so he could do his own thing and summon himself, the fool. As normally a sequence 8 wouldn't even have an honorific name to use at all, as that's a demigod and above thing to even think of it. When he became a 'hologram' he was in his spirit body, so invisible unless using spirit site. Animals are speciel in that they can see spirits and ghosts. Also Sharon could roughly guess his sequence from the amount of spirituality her little web things where sucking from him. The gray fog thing was that anytime anything messes with his mind, (in this case the sleep charm he used on himself) it comes in clutch so he used it on purpose.

my assumption was that b/c he was digesting the potion, he was able to have better memory.
