One of the main reasons Gil can do this now it, one, he is taking this seriously and two, his master has a practically infinite mana reserve only limited by how much her body can funnel at a time due to her getting mana from the lay lines. Conversely, Enkidu gets more mana from the counterforce the more the planet is in danger and well it's funny that Gil just so happened to pose a big threat in that moment. A good example would be Rin vs Sakura, Sakura had just bonkers levels of mana and Rin actually had infinite mana. But that wasn't the deciding factor of there fight. It was how much power they could pull from that reserve. E.G. Sakura: MP: Unquantifiable (Grail) Max MP/s output: 2800000 Rin: MP: Infinite (infinite dimensions) Max MP/s output: 3000000 or Gil: MP: Unquantifiable (Due to lay lines) Max MP/s output: 10000000 Enkidu: MP: The Planets (variable/Matches Threat) Max MP/s output: 10000000 (Disclaimer: Numbers are just there as examples not actual numerology)

To explain the divine vs heroic spirit thing, Servants are summoned from the throne of heroes and are referred to as HEROIC spirits. Divine spirits are instead actual gods or there associated entities summoned from wherever they are after the world lost most of its Mystery (Just treat it as a magic thing magical beings need to operate). An example would be that Hercules is a demigod that became a god so he has his demigod and human myth in the throne but the real Hercules would be wherever the Olympian gods are as a Divine spirit. On the other hand Medusa went from god down to Gorgan so there would not be a divine spirit of her about but you can summon her as a gorgon, or a past heroic spirit version of her when she was still a goddess (Granted this is an imitation and not an actual divine spirit. It is told to us that Gil is the pinnacle of heroic spirits... but he would be about middle to top of the pack in terms of divine spirits. There is some overlap in power scaling but in general a divine spirit is on average more powerful than a heroic spirit. The peak of divine spirits is also higher than the peak of heroic spirits (Gil). If you want something that explains a good bit of lore that would still get a good amount of views as a reaction and means you don't have to read the visual novels then I suggest "Badly Explaining the Entire Fate Series in 30 min" by Gigguk. Smaller channels of ~1000+ subs get 5k views so it should be worth it. The only outdated part that's relevant to you is the place this takes place. It is after the 5th war but follows a 4th "FAKE" route in Stay Night.

Dafka

Strange Fake takes place after Stay Night but doesn't follow any of the 3 original routes. Zero takes place in 1994, Stay Night in 2004 and Strange Fake in 2009. For the Assassin the first Zabaniya she used was the same one used by the Hassan in Heaven's Feel but with a few differences (One of Hassan's arms was cursed, this Assassin uses a third hand), then she combined the third arm with a second Zabaniya and she offscreened the rest of the room with a third Zabaniya, which works similarly to Kiritsugu's Origin Bullet but is transmitted through sound instead. This Jack the Ripper differs from loli Jack in that what Flat has summoned is basically the concept or legend of Jack the Ripper which states he/it could have been anyone/anything and there could have been any number of them. To the question you asked "Could Jack turn into Gilgamesh", yes he could but he'd be much weaker, I believe all his stats would be E-rank. So instead of Gate of Babylon he'd have something like Gate of Kitchen Utensils or Gate of Pocket Knives (or Gate of Babyloink for the cultured). Also this Jack technically came first as most of the concepts for the servants were made in 2009 before Apocrypha. Most of the servants names apart from Caster are revealed by the end of this chapter in the LN. As for the servants whose identities were revealed in the anime it's interesting to see how Gilgamesh (Archer) doesn't use a bow, Assassin is not one of the usual Hassan, Jack (Berserker) is sane, Enkidu (Lancer) was called "The Spear of the Gods" but doesn't actually use a spear/ lance. A bunch of fakers indeed.

Palexdo

In legend, Enkidu was created by the gods to counter Gilgamesh. That’s the reason his abilities are so similar to him.

Michael

I feel like Caw would love to do a deep dive into the Fate lore and the power systems. Because it’s so sweaty and the power system is so incredibly deep and detailed, it seems like the type of thing he would like.

Re Berserker Jack, servants aren’t supposed to retain memories of prior summons. You brought up Saber remembering Fate Zero when she shows up in UBW or HF. There’s a reason for that. Saber, when she shows up in UBW and HF, isn’t dead. She is not the heroic spirit Artoria getting summoned from the throne, she is the STILL LIVING Artoria summoned from Britain right after the fall of her kingdom and just moments before her death. She basically made the same deal with the grail that Archer did that made him a counter guardian. So she keeps looping between right before she dies to a grail war and back until she wins or she gives up the grail.

The Dude

The third war was when angra mainyu tainted the grail.

The Dude

57:33 no Artoria is a special case since she isn’t dead. That’s why she can remember.

The Dude

1:08:17 no mages and executioners pulled up. The guy that Kiritsugu’s mom was after was a dead apostle. The Bee guy.

Droop

The potion isn’t eternal youth. It turns you back into a child and you age back up normally.
