Mad Goldsmith

Loved it! But man, looks like I gotta pick up the manga for the full experience.

MGC

so I went back and reviewed the final chapters of the manga and im now quite interested in this anime original movie. Without any spoilers, the manga doesn't really touch on their "adult" lives after high school besides like a single chapter of some college age life. For the manga, every character/dynamic had their own chapter(s) to finish their stories, and these all were still set in high school. It seems maybe the author must be unsatisfied with how he resolved the characters stories without touching on their futures? I'm honestly pretty hyped to see how they interact as adults. Its a shame all the 80+ chapters developing the relationships between characters like miko and ishigami, hayasaka, even nagisa/maki, are just being completely skipped. How they are just okay with removing all the romantic development for secondary protagonists from a romantic comedy is beyond me, but I guess they just feel its gone on too long :(
