Suit for the peak?! Hell yeah

Deadline

LMAO, first time i see the suit for a non-finale. Yeah, i knew this ep would make waves, the Zen'in demise was so hype in the manga and this gave it justice.

The scene where Maki is killing All The npc‘s with The Glass floor gives me Deja vu from kill bill

Rip to Ranta Zenin though, he seemed like an all right guy compared to the rest. And his technique was pretty cool looking. But the rest had to go.

Did anyone else feel something odd about this episode? I was watching it and while I love the story developments that are happening, the animation being beautiful as usual, this just didn't grab me at all. The entire situation in the vault just felt wrong and I don't know why, I guess it just felt like the presentation/directing was lazy (this is the wrong word, I just don’t know how else to say it)? Also the fight just didn't do a good job of presenting what was happening (Besides amazing animation) and all the stances up shots with the dust? I have liked and disliked parts of jjk but due to this incongruent feeling I can't put this anywhere near my favourite episodes. This just felt like an poorly executed, ok episode for a great series that usually has flawless execution.

I haven't watched reaction yet but I see that people didn't like music choice of this episode. For me music was perfect! It really felt like I was watching Tarantino's cut with that kind of music selection! Amazing homage to the western director who always praised Japanese media!

imma be real i do think its not living up to the hype, nor does it do the manga full justice. This was a really awesome spectacle nonetheless

Just adding a little context to the scene at the beach with Maki and Mai. It’s supposed to reference geese migrating. There’s a tale where geese would hold wheat in their mouth and preparing for migration. In the scene, we also see two of the geese seemingly not flying in formation which are supposed to be them. When Mai said she’ll take everything with her (the cursed energy and her technique) away from both of them and in returns give her a wheat is to signify that they were the oddity from the usual geese (a pair of twins that suffered from the fate of being identical twins) - they never had the wheat before but when Mai leaves, she pass one to her so she can have one and finally be complete.

Jinichi and Toji are brothers, and they are the sons of Naobitos older brother. Ogi is Naobitos lil bro.

The Dude

I mean Ogi was obviously right about Maki before she awakened.
