I am monogatari and madoka enjoyer and I have never seen ascendance. So I guess I am just going to watch ascendance with cawcaw since I don't want to miss react messiah reacting to great anime! And also there is madoka movie on the way so I guess we can watch madoka whenever movie comes out P.S. Also if I remember correctly mother's basement (or some other anituber) was not really satisfied with anime for ascendance, like it does not live up to the source material (like there is anime that live up to source material lol) but I heard that the anime cut a lot of stuff out.

As a longtime Patreon member who likes all kinds of reactions but isn't into lolicon shows, I'm very happy that we're not double-covering one topic. The specific fanbase can enjoy Monogatari and then get Madoka right after (less content now, but more over time), while everyone else can enjoy a different show in the meantime.

No, I’m simply saying this vote is meaningless. If time sensitive content is prioritized over the actual vote count even in a Patreon-exclusive poll, then the outcome was decided from the start and there’s no point in holding the vote.

time sensitive content is usually prioritized, but he'll still 100% watch madoka, just at a later time. Same with Monogatari, the reasoning was explained. If Madoka got barely any votes, he wouldn't have even considered watching it. That's the point of the poll.

The vote wasn't meaningless, he held the vote to measure people's interest in certain shows and what he learned is that the people who want Madoka are mostly the same people who want monogatari. In addition if it's between madoka and Monogatari it seems people prefer monogatari before madoka and since the two shows have overlapping audience it doesn't make sense to do both at the same time. So in short Cawcaw learned from the vote that he shouldn't do madoka right now and should do it after monogatari sometime. The meaning behind the vote was the information he gained from the results.
