man, I was waiting for the fight here, but how did they botch the flow so hard without botching the animation XD the reveal was much more emotional and natural in the manga, the fight too, they nerfed both the kids and Orhun's fight hard

Sadly can't expect too much out of the supporting cast when it comes to fighting, this is almost a solo show. To be fair however i went and read the fight in manga again, the whole party actually fought to slowly injure the dragon, gauging one eye, cutting off his tail, bombing it with magic ecc while Selma kept giving out instructions with her power. All of this before Orun pulled out "alteration". The anime really screwed their performance. Kinda disappointing how they "wasted" so many episodes at the beginning just to go cheap in the final one.

Selma and the other rabbits existing just to show how much better Ohrun is really doesn't sit right with me. We already have his former party for that, now his new party are a bunch of bums too. You don't need to make everyone else incompetent to show how competent the MC is.

Yeah sadly it's very rare for a supporting cast to be competent in this kind of story, the anime did them even dirtier tho, at least in the manga they fought the dragon
