The family thing is extremely significant for Ferdinand. The pay off and revelation won't come until much later though. Hope to see it adapted one day! The Archduke is not new but they simply called him "the lord" before so it seems like they're bringing up someone new. They said before that he's "the lord" of the city and that he lives behind the temple in the noble district. He was brought up only 2 or 3 times.

Well yes, mines blood for sure was like crack-coaine for the trombey but at the same time you 100% correct in the fact that the commoner kids would def have done better job. Damual was way to slow. Also I feel the anime realy drags out the events, as was much more race against the clock in the LN, not people standing around debating why Myne is cosplaying as a Ent. "he said no pickles" omg my sides! Ferdinand saying that would be priceless. A thing the anime has trouble fully depicting is that Ferdinand is a man who never emotes, but over time ( many month ) Myne learned to start to understand emotional meanings of the small farcical changes. But right here in this event Ferdinand goes from stone face to pure rage. showing just how angry this made him that he for once actually fully showed his emotions. Greate content, s2 finally ep - here we go!
