Won't be mentioned in the anime, but Karstedt is Ferdinand and Sylvesters cousin btw. So it's not quite as out of nowhere that Rozemyne gets adopted into the archdukes family since everyone else thinks they're related anyway.

The anime will make it clear in a couple episodes but it's a lot more obvious at this point in the light novel that Karstedt is still Father and Sylvester is still Sylvester. Her actual "family" doesn't change because of the adoption.

Don't know if anime will explain it (doubtful) so I'll mention it. They planned the ending. They were trying to traumatize Wilfried in a controlled environment so that he understands how fragile Rozemyne is. Some other reactors were complaining a lot that they didn't explain the ending in the next episode but just have patience. Like with everything in this series, it will come up again and be relevant.

It's a bit hard to tell in the anime but they're impressed by Rozemynes mana because she's a child. If she was an adult with this mana she would be relatively normal. Still a quite high level Archnoble but not the insane flex that her being a child makes it. It's not mentioned too much but for instance Ferdinand should have quite a bit more mana than Rozemyne at this point.

Fun fact: The wand thing she used during her baptism ceremony was actually a magic tool that measured if she actually had enough mana to be baptised as her class (in this case archnoble/upper class noble). This is why they started clapping when it lit up.

Indeed, which is part of the reason why Damuel and Brigitte weren't held responsible (Ferdinand explicitly gave permission to Wilfred; not shown in the anime), and also Damuel and Brigitte weren't yet officially on duty as Rosemyne's guards yet.

find it funny that Myne becomes Noble Rosemyne and the anime becomes a wit studio production. So what, Is Studio Ghibli gonna adapt the last season of this show? lmao.

I just hope this studio is able to fix the profile mouth animation with the kids when they are talking. That cheap animation style in the first three seasons just kept taking me out of the story. Definitely cursed looking. This first episode definitely upped the animation game IMO. Hope it continues to improve and the LN receives the adaptation that it has deserved from the beginning.
