The female lead dozes off in the male lead’s room, then gets found out by the latter’s mom. This feels a lot like The Angel Next Door. Shizuka Ito is doing two “female lead’s moms” this season: Sora Asanagi here, and Masaki Osaki, Akane’s mother, in Akane-banashi. That Amami moment at the end is what made me like her much, much more than before, since this is where she proves to be not just a pretty girl. She is a loyal friend who is not afraid to stand up for her loved ones.

I know she’s not doing it intentionally and I know she’s a good person but it really bugs me when people can’t read the room like this man is getting death glares and is clearly uncomfortable because you talk to him so much in the classroom and your solution is to be more vocal about it and escalate it more. Like at the end of the day it’s clearly the stupid NPC’s fault for weird jealous behavior but it’s clearly putting him in a bad position that he doesn’t wanna be in and she keeps ramping it up and making it worse. At least she stood up for him at the end but sadly knowing human behavior it’s only gonna make it worse that she’s defending him cause high schooler are petty like that

My favorite Romcom this season Is The Klutzy Class Monitor And The Girl with the Short Skirt. Its more on the comedy side but i highly reccomend.
