Umi in the storage room scene sounds rather like Mahiru from The Angel Next Door.

They show you that Umi was Yuu's knight in shining armor as a kid. It reminds me of the relationship between the two main female characters in Fragrant Flower. Except that Umi ended up in Yuu's shadow and has been trying to get out from under it but keeps failing. Which is what has given her this inferiority complex. At least that is what I have taken away so far.

I can't with this MC, he looks way too similar to Keyaru, the MC from Redo of Healer. Hard to look at him and see how any female could have a romantic interest in him.
