I think you’re being a little dismissive of Mariabell’s reasonable worries for the future. She’s 100% right, sure on paper they’ll be equals. But at the end of the day it’s immortal super beings vs. humans. Sure Rimuru is cool now, but who’s to say that will be the case 5,000 years from now. They already barely stand a chance against him, humanity will have absolutely no chance if they let him amasses any more influence or power.
