This makes me suspect tsubaki is a third white room student, or at the very least that if there is a second it is between her and yagami. If she is a product of the white room that was of the 1st to 3rd generation, then her attitude outwardly matches with ayanokoji's.

One think I don’t like about this season compared to the LNs is they don’t have any narration for hosens inner monologue and thought process. In the LNs, he’s running a simulation in his head during that conversation, he didn’t know tsubaki was there that was a gambit on his part, and he’s constantly shown to be incredibly calculating. For a dude who’s a walking gorilla, he’s really smart, he isn’t just a goon, hell utomia is more of a goon

That one NPC from Kiriyamas year is just there to make Kiriyama look more competent than he really is. He is dragging down the average. At the same time Kiriyama didn't really affect Koenji at all.
