Definitely one of my favorite episodes so far. We are getting into more of the political intrigue and factional conflicts which is quite fun, and also getting some nice set up for future arcs and characters that go beyond the scope of this season.

You misunderstood how greetings work. Rozemyne also made a small blessing when she met Elvira. They kinda made it confusing this episode but greeting blessings are supposed to be like Hartmut and Philines. It's skillful to make a small, exact blessing rather than a big one. Also Hartmut is an Archnoble so he has quite a lot of mana. Didn't want you to misunderstand Hartmuts rank (he's the goat, ranked 3rd in the popularity poll).

Rosemary (the sister of the giebe guy) is Karstedts dead 3rd wife that is supposedly Rozemynes birth mother. Elvira took her in but according to the cover story the giebe guy is actually her uncle.

Don’t worry, the Royal Academy is not that far away anymore 😊 And we can already see how they’re speeding through the seasons of the year. The Royal Academy part is when the series really became very popular in Japan so they want to get the anime there as fast as they can.

Philine having no hair shine is neat little detail that I really appreciate the animator for having. Its Veronica fraction and Liesegang fraction. Veronica again being Sylvesters Mom and the one who got jailed after trying get Myne killed/kidnapped in s3. So having Liesegangs support by using Rosemary as her fake biological mom ( who is also the reason Myne chose Rosemyne ) was always core part of the plan, its just that.... having Wilfred look like a worse choices than a adopted girl from the church was a rather big curve on the road. And there is some cut content on why people normally prefer to support male Archduke over females, which is basically mostly just the problem of having a pregnant leader. ( I will say, on a unserious note I kinda get why placing power that could end a land and many lives, in hands of pregnant women, sounds a tad bit risky ) So Wilfred still has the gender card he can play for why his the best choice.

Wilfried couldn't even look better than a girl raised in what nobles consider little better than a brothel. And yeah the pregnancy thing makes complete sense. Wouldn't want to get executed because your leader had a bad day and insulted royalty.

Rosemyne's grandfather is Bonificius, Karstedt's father, and elder brother of the previous Archduke. He didn't want to be the Aub, and instead focused on being a knight. He's an expert in using mana for physical enhancement, and is renowned for his strength. He's mostly retired except for training certain knights. Rosemyne's caretakers fear allowing him too close to her because he might accidentally hurt her (a legitimate concern) by unintentionally being too rough with her. Rosemyne is his only granddaughter and so he's kind of obsessed with wanting to dote on her. Rhiyarda has utterly devoted her life to serving Erhenfest by being the best Attendant she can to whoever she happens to be serving. When Rosemyne tells her she doesn't want to be the Aub, she takes it seriously so she can help Rosemyne do what she actually wants to do. Rhiyarda takes her job very seriously. Hartmut will be a big deal later. He is actually an Archnoble (why he was first in line), and he is EXTREMELY loyal to Rosemyne. Like, Rosemyne's other Attendants (and Rosemyne herself) find him exhausting. That's even after Hartmut learns certain secrets. Whatever else, Hartmut has Rosemyne's back to the bitter end.

Yeah, I'm betting that this season ends soon after Rosemyne meets her little sister Charlotte. LN readers know what happens after that. Speedrun to the Academy after... 😴.

Hartmut is the son of an Archnoble.. yes this was stated at this point in the LN.... and yes Rosemyne is A MANA MONSTER...

Rozemyne's Leisegang support comes from Elvira and Karstedt (who both have Leisegang mothers), not Rozemary, hence why it's Elvira trying to convince them that Rozemyne doesn't want to be Aub.
