Yeah, the statue was pretty much neglected. This is the kind of world where people have stopped believing in gods and everything has degenerated without anyone noticing or caring. The temple was basically a brothel for nobles and a place to give and receive bribes in exchange for favors until Rozemyne became High Bishop and Ferdinand cleaned the place up. Regarding the songs, the anime doesn't use them because of copyrights but basically Rozemyne recycles famous anime songs all the time and gets hailed as a music prodigy for it. Even Ferdinand is hooked on them as a music enthusiast.

It's standard for the host to take a bite of all the food first to demonstrate to their guests that the food is not poisoned so poisoning must be common enough for that to become the norm. A noble normally would have a lot more caution than Ferdinand did, but after all he is correct that there is nothing to worry about with Rozemyne. She has absolutely no guile or desire to harm him.

I am going to say the water was not AI simply because where you paused when you mentioned it. The trees in the background reflected correctly on the water surface. The reflection as subtle as it was seemed to match the tree above it.

no, the nobles would not have been as cautious as ferdinand

and the poison testing stuff is only the norm recently

When you find out what "giving mana" can mean that ending scene feels like it's alluding to something. I pray to the gods that we get part 5 animated some day.

YB Đăng

i think we will definitly get part 5 only when

I know what you're referring to and Ferdinand has already done something highly unusual with Rosemyne regarding mana that is usually only done under, very particular circumstances. 🍷👀 IYKYK

The gods of this world are actually less background characters than one might think. Ferdinand was being serious when he mentioned the prank.

From your comment, it doesn't take a mastermind to figure out what you mean. I hope you don't ruin it for too many people.

Bindewald is making me think of the villian from the hunchback from notre dame.

It’s not so much that it’s forbidden magic but he was saying he’d never seen it because it’s only taught to archduke candidates which he isn’t so he never learned
