It truly is ironic, that, to protect peace, more and more wars are being waged. And thus, another lamb joins the slaughter. Being X is a wolf masquerading as the Shepherd, leading the lambs to their doom. Tanya's declaration at the end was glorious, though.

Is there anything scarier fighting against a Mary Sue? Someone the world bends backwards for?

You right…Most decisions humans make are based on emotions or feelings if you will…When there not (like myself partially) it’s a personality disorder called calculated psychopathy

For me this is among the greatest anime of all time. Best Isekai anime for sure.

Number 3, I think? I remember you Rating Takopi Like 9.9 before

This is my personal favorite isekai. While I do think that shows like Re:Zero and Mushoku Tensei are really great, and often have better writing in terms of overall cast, Tanya herself caries this show. In terms of source material I think Ascendance of a Bookworm is easily the best written isekai, but as an anime Tanya for me is the most enjoyable.

All these nations want to blame the empire and say they are warmongers yet the empire has only been fighting defensive wars. Yes they invaded and won but they did not start it. They ended it. and then the defeated refuse to stay down and cry the victim.

The literal Mary sue has joined the battle.
