WorldClass Pumpkin

I think the theory that humanity got complacent still makes sense. The magical burst only blocked lv 9 and 10 spells, and Merlin can use lv 8 spells just fine. And i mean sure.. she's a demon with inherently more magic, and magic itself was nerfed, but was it really nerfed to the point where humans today go L,L,LEVEL 4!? I honestly think it's both complacency and coping. The talented don't work hard and the untalented don't try as hard, all the while coping that it's because of the magical burst... Or it's just a shoehorned and lazy explanation, and IM the one coping. Who knows.
