it was explained slightly different in the LN, and they got most of the points, but the anime doesn't explicitly state one point. also the translations saying "I didn't meet hinata." were meant to say "he didn't meet hinata." to sum it up, he goes straight home and hinata doesn't catch him and fight him, he saves tempest, doesn't become demon lord. this time though, chloe stopped him for a bit and received the mask at that point, and that was enough time for hinata to catch rimuru and fight him, which means he doesn't get back in time to save tempest, which is the main reason he decides to become a demon lord. no loss = no evolution = too weak to fight the empire.

Chat was miscommunicating about the milim stuff, they probably meant to say this stuff is after the milim stuff. because yeah, the milim stuff is WAY further back. i don't know exact number but it's something like 10k 20k or 30k years, 10k+ years at the very least.

Veldora is sealed for approx 300 years soo Chloe should look a bit more mature i mean she got 1700 years to grow up

The only thing im not understanding is in every loop Rimuru has already eaten veldora - which is why hes so strong - So Chronoa would have already sealed him atp . But we see chloe as like still a child when veldora is released - meaning it was a different version of chloe. Is Chronoa like a verson of Chloe like 5-10 loops down the road and that 1 version of her is perpetually keeping the paradox going? otherwise when does Chloe every grow up and help Shizu? there must be multiple Chloes existing in overlap or something otherwise nothing makes sense

Veldora sealed 300 years ago -> rimuru eats him -> chloe goes 2000 years back in time, so why would he be sealed before he got sealed by her later? She gets summoned when Veldora is already sealed and then gets her ability later so we can assume it's middle of timey wimey shenanigans not the first loop where veldora would not be sealed

Basically there is 2 Chloes at the same time as it was shown in the anime until the child Chloe is not summined Chronoa can be active and do whatever she wants she has like 2000 years to spend and when it is time for child Chloe to be summined Luminus freezes Chronoa so as not to be 2 Chloe's simultaniously (Chronoa is basically just an empty vessel after Chloe gets summoned). Also Rimuru eating Veldora doesn't mean anything until Great sage analyzes unlimited imprisonment and Veldora ( it happens after Rimuru evolves as a true demon lord) until then his only gain is that he can leach Veldoras magicules when he names too many people at the same time
