Don't get too catfished by the visuals in the OP, early Black Clover visuals were... rough to say the least XD. I'm sitting here watching the first 3 OPs like, "no way the show looked like that so early on" lmao. But I'm second guessing myself, thinking "maybe there were some good episodes early on too". I just recall a certain fight somewhere in the 60 episode range that was, like, REALLY bad XD. But yes, overall there are lots of well animated scenes, especially in the latter half of the series.

It was really good early on actually. But the show was originally supposed to end by the time we got to the arc in OP 4, so when they decided to extend it, then it got a dip. It was around ep 50 or 60 like you mentioned.
