Just a progress report~Guys I am doing my best to wrap up my stories and get it down to three and I apologize that it is taking so long. I don't want to just abrubtly end ongoing stories as that defeats my purpose. I do have a ridiculous amount going and by cutting way back on commissions and refusing more stories I am making headway. I have refused 7 new stories already and I was just doing commissions but even that got out of hand quickly as after several commissions on the same idea they just became rush stories of their own.😣 So commissions had to be cut way back.

I am doing my best to try to find a balance here.😥 As 10count said, "Whittling takes time. It's the one thing whittling is good at, making you realize how precious time is and how much we waste. " Yeah, I'm not wasting a minute any more...

No need to apologize. I think most of us realize how hard it is for artists to cut back when the creative juices are flowing. We just want to keep you healthy and around.

Thanks for the progress report. I'm glad to see you share your own assessment. My sense is over the past month or so that you are getting more focused. I understand too that it takes time to get to a consolidated point. I also understand the need for variety, even a non-creative mind like mine needs variety. But creativity and variety don't require being overloaded or going in too many directions at one time. That's a recipe for too much stress. Like you say, it's about the right balance. You know that, and you're doing fine.
