The CycleSluts have a set of Bylaws for taking a man for "The Breaking" and the Carpet is part of that. A man alone can simply be subdued and taken. "On the back of a bike," but if a woman is present and claims ownership she can challenge for the man. They call it being Called to the Carpet. Then the woman agree on a set of rules, the carpet is brought and unrolled and the women battle on it for the man, who is usually tied up and forced to watch. No one from the gang can help and many of these "contests" are done privately but not all of them. Winner takes the man, if one of the gang loses her bike or cash is forfeited.
