Barb Slater picks up a shiny stone in a lonely stream. Cleaning it in the water it reveals itself as an oddly colored crystal, as she looks closer she feels a sense of vertigo.

Barb is suddenly drawn through a turning portal and of light and stars. When the vertigo stops she is on her knees but it isn't in the body she knows.
