I've really looked forward to this album and it's a really good album - interesting songs and I like the variety of genre. The songs really fit TEN as an artist I think, I'm interested to listen to the album more and see what songs grow on me. I'm a little disappointed that all the songs were in english but I probably won't mind the more I listen to the songs. Let me know your thoughts in the comments~

💙 THANK YOU MARIA FOR YOUR REQUEST 💙

fyi, Ten is a Thai with Chinese descent along with 50-60% of people in Thailand so normally we don’t call ourselves half thai half chinese(this is more like Lucas’s case). Ten don’t know Chinese he just learned it when he joined SM(maybe he used to learn it before in school, not sure) but mostly those Thai with chinese descent in Thailand don’t know Chinese (except those 1st gen great grandparents who were evacuated from China) we speak just Thai, our national language. (sorry for my poor english 🥲) btw I enjoy your reaction so much! will definitely check out your reaction to NCT more😊

johanmoon

thank you so much for explaining, i really appreciate it!! and your english is great! now i wish he would have had some thai in his songs, but i understand why he didnt/couldnt. i've been reacting to my school president which is a thai BL and they sing a lot in it and i've just fallen in love with the way the language sounds, like i did with kpop back in the day. anyway thank you for joining and i hope you enjoy my other NCT content! make sure to check out the collections i've made 💙

The day has come! The day has come!! I've been waiting for this day since I first listened to this album! This was the first Kpop album I bought for myself. I adore this album. I feel like he called on such strong pop influences all around for this album and whoever produced the instrumentals did SO good. It's so smooth. I feel like he has such a GREAT knowledge of pop music on a thorough level and cultivated his understanding on this album. Such a strong debut. I understand your reservation about Dangerous but I love that groove hook so much. it's so infectious. it was one of my top played songs on Apple Music this year. BUT Shadow and On Ten YESSS some of the best. Our boy can do 👏 it 👏 all 👏!!! I love the mood of Shadow and his vocal performance is just orgasmic. I'm so glad you loved that song too! I think it did pretty well for a debut album?? (I still don't know much about the Kpop industry but it landed top 10 on a handful of charts AND made it to a good slew of year end lists.) Either way, he has another solo project coming out next year and maybe we'll get some Thai/Chinese songs this time around 😁🤷‍♂️ If you wanted to check out some other solo stuff, here's some live stages and behind for the performance video: Performnace Video Behind: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mR00794DkJw Nightwalker Stages: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bHzB4zUT9I4 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=05-saeMA2zQ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jQQhEU7rK7s (Dance Practice): https://youtu.be/-MfErEUKT9Y?si=2VLU4IFABsX4UEPi Water Stages: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zFVIhtb1kKw https://youtu.be/ymZ9-IMCR7Q?si=t6gCEs9qZL70GzTp
