It was an amazing experience to get to hear this album for the first time while reading the description for each song like this. The way all the songs each consequently(?) represents one of the stages in the five stages of grief is such a good and creative idea. I also found out thanks to this that the Kübler-Ross model was created by a woman named Elisabeth so now I love it even more. And in 1969 which really isn't that long ago when you think about it. LOOK AT ME LEARNING THINGS I SHOULD HAVE LEARNED IN SCHOOL!

The songs represent each stage really well and I love them all. Another great album and it feels more mature to what they've done up until now, for sure. From a glance it seems like the concept of this comeback/title track is hard but it's actually so soft! These boys are just hurting and in the process of healing from that. HEALING IS HURTING.

I reacted to this album yesterday but I've been listening to it a lot since. I have so many more thoughts but I will save those for the comeback show. Loving this new era so much, I'm having the best time! Let me know what you guys think~
