Get ready for my longest "FIRST" LISTEN ever! 18 songs and one of my favourite albums ever. It was an amazing experience to listen to the album like this. Even though I have listened to it many times, I never knew who sang exactly what or what the lyrics are but somehow I feel like I understood the meaning anyway.

I have wanted to do an album reaction to it anyway, almost as a way to pay homage to this album because it's a big reason why I started making reaction videos in the first place, so thank you SO MUCH to NVA for requesting this, I really appreciate it. This just made me fall even more in love with this album and all the songs and the members as well. It's amazing how talented they are. Would love to hear your thoughts on the album and which is your favourite song! I picked like 5 different ones lol, so pick as many as you like~

My first bts song I listened to was Not today and I didn’t like it too (now I actually like it tho), then I gave them a second chance and listened to Save me and fell in love with them 😂

boy meets evil is one of the best album intros of all time! hopefully one day you'll get a chance to watch/react to the mv of it because the DANCE is CRAZYYYY and he's wearing skinny jeans and a big, loose shirt...something you might be interested in ;)

begin is about the other members you were correct! truly one of the most beautiful songs--you can tell he means every word he says

i feel like stigma was a big turning point for Taehyung like he really showcased what he was vocally capable of, as well as what he was capable of when it came to dancing in the mv (which i believe is what made him become a part of the dance line). it’s just a brilliant song and his vocals are insane i feel like it made a lot of people put some respect on his name.

AMAZING!!!!! incoming commenttttttt <3 i think you did great with timing, considering how many songs there were -- thank you 💜 so true that many songs are favorites - i think my longtime-fave solo here is reflection, and then i love spring day, wings, and YNWA (supplementary story) as well, but the whole album is so top-tier! this era is so nostalgic for me; i didn't find bts or kpop until love yourself: her came out, but this was the previous album before that so i listened to it and watched the performances when getting to know them! amazingly, nearly all of these songs have performances (all solos have footage, 2!3! and wings have concert performances, and then 21st century girl and am i wrong have a few live stages - not to mention all the stages for BS&T, spring day, and not today!) so when i hear some of them i really picture the choreo!!! 21st century girl in particular was such a cute dance, i loved it so much :) jungkook as the main vocal truly carried so much of the ad-libbing and chorus-parts, and he was like 18/19? SOOOO impressive, and now that i'm older it really makes me so emotional how young they ALL were (jin as the oldest was only 24 here!!!! HELLO) and yet they wrote such deep lyrics and were starting to gain global popularity here so they really started to bear some weight of that. i believe this was also when they won their first ever daesang? at melon music awards, for this album as album of the year !!!!!!!! BABIES and finally -- the lil video montage that played in the wings video was a nice touch, i think its like a mixer-video with mini-mvs for all the solos, and intro: boy meets evil? as well as concept clips for BS&T, like you caught. idk if that'll ever be requested, but that exists! maybe after your full mv-journey, we'll end up going through hidden mv's and that can be on there. thank you for all your interest and appreciation for the members, i can’t believe you’ll soon be familiar with all members’ solo content and (mostly) caught up to speed! WOAH! and the eventual MV-mega reaction this year is so exciting to hear about !!! 💙💜

i feel like awake is an underrated masterpiece! like he sounds soooo good and the lyrics are beautiful!!! also i never realized how much the solos all parallel each other lyrically/the overall meaning of each one

LOL crow tits is a type of bird that BTS refer to themselves as because in Korean there’s a saying, “The crow-tit will break it's legs trying to walk like a stork” which means someone who is trying to be someone they aren't just to fit in. BTS are basically just calling themselves someone small that's not trying to fit in with the big wigs saying they're happy as the underdog
